The Canada Club maintains the friendly and inclusive eligibility criteria established by our Founders laid out in the Club’s Rules and Regulations as follows:

RULE 1 – That the Club shall consist of British or Canadian Citizens who shall possess, in addition, any of the following qualifications:

(a) That they have resided in Canada.
(b) That their profession, calling, business or connection is actively with Canada.
(c) In addition, the Committee may, at their discretion, accept members of other citizenships who also possess either one of the above (a) or (b).

RULE 4 – The election or rejection of candidates to be left to the discretion and decision of the Committee, subject to the instruction that in no case shall a candidate be elected unless by a majority of the members of the Committee.

The Committee convenes quarterly to consider applications. Individuals applying between voting periods are considered provisional members until they are formally voted in.
